Compared with a refractive index of about 1.0 for air, 1.3 for water, and 1.58 for general-purpose polycarbonate (PC), Iupizeta EP achieves a value of approximately 1.68.

The higher the refractive index of a material, the stronger its ability to bend light, broadening the range of possible lens designs.
