The system irradiates the target with X-rays from multiple directions and, based on the acquired transmission data, reconstructs a high-resolution three-dimensional X-ray image. This makes it possible to visualize internal structures, assembly conditions, and material distributions that cannot be confirmed from the outside. In optical devices in particular, the three-dimensional shapes and positions of lenses can be accurately grasped, enabling detailed evaluations that leverage volumetric information unavailable from cross-sectional observation alone.
